Poster Presentations
Rural Health West is seeking poster presentations for the WA Aboriginal Eye Health Forum 2026 to be held at the University Club of Western Australia on Tuesday 24 November 2026.
The lunchtime poster presentations will provide an opportunity for communities, health professionals, researchers, services and organisations to share work, initiatives, research, projects and experiences contributing to improved eye health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Western Australia. If you have a story to tell, a project to showcase; or a solution to share, we welcome submissions that highlight:
- WA eye health priorities, challenges, opportunities and experiences
- Innovative approaches, programs and models of care
- Collaboration and partnerships contributing to improved eye health outcomes
- Workforce development and training
- Emerging evidence and data
Important Dates and Submission Process

Submission outcome notification
Deadline for accepted presentations to provide written acceptance to their offer to present and to register for the forum.

Guidelines
- Poster Presentations must align with the following topics regarding Aboriginal eye health:
- WA eye health priorities, challenges, opportunities and experiences
- Innovative approaches, programs and models of care
- Collaboration and partnerships contributing to improved eye health outcomes
- Workforce development and training
- Emerging evidence and data
- All poster presentations must be:
- Submitted electronically via the online form here.
- Submitted by 5pm Australian Western Standard Time (AWST) on Friday 23 October 2026. Presentations received after this date WILL NOT be accepted.
- Printed and brought to the forum by the author themselves. No on-site printing will be available at the forum venue.
- Accepted poster presentations will be displayed during the conference at the allocated lunch break.
- Rural Health West reserves the right to accept or refuse any presentation.
- The acceptance of a poster presentation does not imply funding by Rural Health West.
- Successful applicants will be notified by Monday 2 November 2026 and will have until Friday 6 November 2026 to provide written acceptance of their offer.
